Dan Ruhl is a Partner at Oval Partners. He has worked in the Private Equity Industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience across transaction types, including buyouts, build-ups, corporate carve-outs, equity investments and debt financings. In his private equity and investment banking career Dan has specialized in working on transactions directly with business owners.
Prior to joining Oval Partners in 2016, Dan was the President of Clover Technologies, Inc. During Dan’s tenure at Clover, the company grew more than 20 fold and acquired over 30 companies. That experience in building and consolidating global businesses is used to help Oval’s platforms complete and integrate add-on acquisitions. Dan is actively engaged in executing add-on acquisitions for Flex Technology Group and New Charter Technologies.
He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University.
Dan has three children and lives in Chicago, IL.
